“Hello, I hope you're doing alright. It's quite cold over here but very sunny at the moment so I'm about to head off down toward our railway station here in Egan to pick up my friend Naomi from school who's coming along to stay for a few days. The only thing is I can't quite remember how to get to the railway station so this could be fun. So I have to pick her up on foot so wish me luck. I'll let you know how we get on. Till then I hope you're going to have lots and lots of fun and I will speak again very soon. Have fun. Take care.”
Man how bad am I! Yes we found one another, notwithstanding the inefficiencies of the South-West Trains timetable and my somewhat sketchy command of the Egham locality.
Indeed it certainly was the Naomi you know, though you are wise not to assume so as there seem to be Naomis popping up all over the place at uni! We had great fun eating far too much and sleeping far too little. What's more, my uni friends are now a little more knowledgeable of my colourful character! :D
Naomi says "hi" by the way, or rather did when I told her of your comment at the time.
